Set in 10 acres of grounds we are home to our resident horses, Shetland sheep (lambs in the spring) and yes our very own highland cow who is always happy to pose for pictures.
A wide range of walks and cycle trails are available right on our doorstep, either towards the picturesque last remaining caledonian forest of Glen Affric or over the cascading hills to the historical magnificence of Urquhart Castle and Locc Ness.
Families are very welcome- children will enjoy the pets feeding, trampoline and large fenced garden maybe even a pony ride (complementary of course).
For the adults:soak your tired muscles in our brand new hot tub complete with mood lighting and music, or maybe kick start the day with an enthusiastic gym workout in our private gym.
We offer a range of mouth watering breakfasts but also afternoon tea in front of the fire/or on the patio and an array of dinner menus should you not wish to venture out.
With first class accommodation with every luxury you can imagine, including a deluxe suite with fully equipped kitchen and patio, we really are bed and breakfast with a whole lot extra!
Anderson farmhouse is very central to the highlands, making it an ideal base to visit other areas like Skye, Ullapool, the Cairngorms and Nevis range. A day trip to the Orkney is also possible. So why not stay awhile and use us as a base for your highland holiday.
